This work began with my mother, a cartomancer whose readings introduced me to the connection between cards, people, and the stories they carry.
After opening my own shop, I began reading for others and saw the same themes appear repeatedly: love, family, grief, money, timing, choices, and change. Over time, I realized that readings were not only about prediction. They were also a way of helping people understand the story behind what they were experiencing.
That insight shaped my work as an author and creator. I wrote From Fortune-Telling to Storytelling, developed Arcane Tarot, created Tattle Teller Tarot and its Spanish version, Las Chismosas Tarot, and designed Tarotería, an interactive card game inspired by tarot, oracle reading, and lotería-style play.
I later developed Transformational Timeline Theory (TTT), a framework for understanding how change unfolds through recognizable stages. The TTT Map, Questionnaire, and textbook were created to help organize timing, pressure, transition, and transformation.
Although each project serves a different purpose, they all come from the same foundation: my mother’s influence, my years of experience reading cards, and my desire to give people’s stories greater structure, meaning, and clarity.
